Provide opportunities for local people to gain tangible experience as conservation practitioners. We will design the ICON property as an ecological laboratory and teach the principles of conservation.

Provide technical training and sustainability enterprise opportunities for local community members to compete for ecotourism employment. The ICON property will grow to become an education space for applied training.

Forge an innovation campus at ICON that provides a range of facilities needed to create interdisciplinary solutions for conservation problems. Turning snares into art, chilis into products, and upcycling disused materials.

Enable interdisciplinary teams of US, UK, European, and Ugandan students to work together in problem-based courses uplifting local communities. Study abroad and distance learning will allow students to engage with communities.
